Tell us more about why you are participating in Just Bike. What is your challenge, how did you choose it? Why should people support you? Why is cycling your preferred method of low-carbon transportation?

My challenge is to not get into my car and "just bike" as a means of transportation for 10 days in July. This is definitely more doable for me in the summer since I'm not needing to drive long distances for work as I do during the school year. I'm hoping it will help form some new life style habits: being less car dependent, slowing down, appreciating my surroundings more and getting more outside exercise. In addition, every time I hop onto my bike, I'll be reminded of the dire state of our precious environment and will feel like I'm doing a little something positive to combat climate change.
